Jim Nova, who has a construction and mechanical background, founded Nova, Inc. in 1977. The company's main function then was to provide an effective and economical alternative to the less than effective and costly processes available at that time. Today, Nova Basement Systems is one of the largest basement waterproofing and foundation repair contractors in northern Indiana and southern Michigan, offering common sense solutions for foundation and water problems. More specifically, we specialize in these areas:

1. We provide a wide variety of systems to solve any basement water problem. Our systems include WaterGuard , DryTrak , SuperSumps , Battery Backup UltraSump , BrightWall Paneling , Perma-Wall, Trench Drains and more.

2. We stabilize and straighten basement and retaining walls that have bowed and cracked due to poor grading and expansive soils utilizing the Grip-Tite Anchor System. Many structural engineers recognize Grip-Tite Wall Anchors as the state-of -the-art repair for basement and retaining walls. They've even been featured on the John Stossel American Architectural Review Report.

3. We also specialize in solving crawl space moisture problems. Our CleanSpace System is the most advanced process on the market today and carries a 25 year transferable warranty.
